These floor jacks are courtesy of not having running water a few weeks ago. Luckily the water pump was only temporarily frozen and the pipes did not burst! However one of the causes for the interior crawl space access was to make it easier to get to the water pump in the event we have future problems. Well, there were looming problems. While Zach was looking at the water pump and closing the vent that was the cause of no water, he noticed that the kitchen studs were hanging on by two nails to the middle floor joist. Thanks to Zach and my Dad, the floor jacks are keeping the kitchen safe and secure. Good thing I like to cook or I probably wouldn't care!

We've been in our new house for a little over 4 months. The crawl space was only accessible from the outside, so Zach created an interior access in the hall closet He also painted, put laminate flooring down, and fixed the shelf and coat rack. Seriously exciting stuff around here. While we have more room and two bathrooms, there is a lack of closet space and organization. We will get there. I have my eye on the cubed storage bin thingies, because of course the project is finished....but all of the stuff that should be put away is in the computer room ;)

52 Week Project

I didn't think I wanted to attempt another photo project but have decided to go with the 52 week project. It's not to late and I think the project will keep the little bit of momentum from rolling to a halt. I actually have a picture from the week before that I will post, so I'm not behind from the start.

2010 Photo Project

I just posted my last picture from what originally started out as a 365 day photo project. About a month into the project, I revised my goal by setting out to compile 365 photos within the year. Well, I made it to 150 photos.
